Oct. 16--Sara Lee Corp. of Chicago is selling a plant in Jamesville in eastern North Carolina and closing two plants near Charlottesville, Va., as part of a restructuring plan for its Liberty Fabrics business.

The restructuring will also result in a reduction in staff at the business' headquarters and the moving of some operations into a third plant in Virginia.

About 350 employees out of approximately 840 with Liberty Fabrics are expected to lose their jobs, said Peggy Carter, a spokeswoman for Sara Lee.

Liberty Fabrics, which generated about $130 million in sales last year, is a fabric and lace manufacturing business …
