Oct. 25--TREMONTON, Utah--Zions Bank is expanding in the Top of Utah with the purchase of a Washington Federal Savings branch in Tremonton.

The branch, at 340 E. Main Street, will close at 1 p.m. today and reopen Friday as Zions Bank. The deal was hammered out in June. The sale price was undisclosed.

"This is our first branch in Tremonton," said Zions Public Relations Vice President Robert Brough. The branch's five employees will be retained by Zions.
