New York Mill Looks to Erie, Pa., International Paper Workers as Replacements.

Nov. 3--A New York state paper mill where workers have been on strike for more than four months is looking to Erie for replacement workers.

In Times-News advertisements appearing this weekend, Finch, Pruyn & Co. of Glens Falls, N.Y., is seeking replacement paper workers for its fine papers plant in northeastern New York.

The Finch Paper plant, located between the Hudson River and Adirondack Mountains about 45 miles north of Albany, is being run by about 270 salaried employees. Nearly 600 workers, members of seven different unions, have been on strike since June 16.
