Jan. 8--An Albuquerque-based company that deals in commercial real estate and property management has bought Santa Fe Premium Outlets with a plan to revitalize the south-side retail center.

The Gulfstream Group, which is owned by the Whittington family, bought the 122,000 square-foot shopping center from Chelsea Property Group, a predecessor of which, Ginsburg Craig Associates, opened the $8 million mall in late 1993.

The sale of the shopping center, on Cerrillos Road near the intersection with Interstate 25, closed on Dec. 28, 2004. The purchase price was not …
