Jan. 5--BBL TRANSFERS BH SHARES: Bangkok Bank said yesterday that it had transferred 175 million shares worth 2.712 billion baht of Bumrungrad Hospital Plc (BH) to its subsidiary, Sinsuptawee Asset Management, which is 99.99 percent owned by the bank.

The purpose of the transfer is to allow Sinsuptawee to manage the assets. The bank added that the transfer would have no affect on its operations in any way.

BH shares closed unchanged yesterday on the Stock Exchange of Thailand at 15.30 baht, in trade worth 21.94 million baht.
