CHARLOTTE, N.C. _ Charlotte Bobcats coach Bernie Bickerstaff wouldn't quite stomp on the point that referees ripped off his team Friday.
But Bickerstaff danced to every corner of that accusation.
"I may be biased, but in my opinion, the 12 guys in that room that suited up tonight deserve better than that," Bickerstaff said, after his team lost to the Seattle Supersonics, 103-97.
Then Bickerstaff was asked about his team's improved foul shooting, and he took another shot.
"We made 11 of the 13 we got," Bickerstaff replied with dramatic flourish.
Bickerstaff has been frustrated for weeks with a sense that officials don't respect his team. Friday night it boiled over, particularly for point guard Brevin Knight, who fouled out with 2 minutes, 40 seconds left.
