ATLANTA _ Having just torched Charleston Southern for 20 points and six 3-pointers, all Georgia Tech freshman Anthony Morrow wanted to talk about was defense.
In other words, he's catching on.
"We really emphasize defense. I knew that was the biggest thing I was going to have to work on coming out of high school," said Morrow, who got more excited by a diving deflection he made during the game.
"I want to make sure I make better defensive players than offensive plays."
It's that attitude _ and an increased understanding of the Yellow Jackets defensive principles _ that has earned Morrow solid minutes in the Tech rotation.
On Saturday, when the ninth-ranked Yellow Jackets (9-1) travel to No. 2 Kansas (8-0), the learning curve gets a bit steeper for Morrow and fellow freshmen Ra'Sean Dickey and Zam Fredrick.
