Byline: Josh Robbins
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. _ The most polarizing quarterback in Florida State history soon will end his tumultuous college career and return home to the West Coast.
The move already has begun.
Chris Rix recently gathered many of his belongings and stuffed them into his sporty white Mercedes. Ten days ago, he shipped the car from Tallahassee to Southern California.
Before long, only his legacy will remain, and it may not be pretty.
Rix has thrown more touchdown passes and compiled more passing yards than all but one quarterback in school history, but FSU also has lost 11 of the 38 games he has started.
"There's been so many tough weeks," Rix acknowledged.
