CBS, ABC celebrate Christmas week ratings wins.

Christmas joy equaled Nielsen apathy as viewers turned away from their favorite shows and turned toward thoughts of family, Santa Claus and that obnoxious-looking belated sequel to "Meet the Parents." As result, ratings were down across the board for the week ending Sunday, Dec. 27, 2004.

Overall, CBS won the week with a 6.4 rating/11 share, pulling in 10.02 million viewers per night. ABC was a close second with a 6.0/11 and 9.65 million, easily beating NBC's third place 4.6/8 and 6.98 million viewers. FOX floundered along with a 3.6/6 and 5.81 million viewers, at least trouncing UPN's 1.9/3 and 2.77 million viewers. The WB trailed for the week with a 1.6/3 and 2.31 …
