Northrop Grumman to settle with Goodrich over TRW unit sale.

Dec. 28--Northrop Grumman Corp. said Monday that it will pay $99 million to settle some issues related to the sale of a TRW unit to Goodrich Corp.

Northrop Grumman has already paid Charlotte, N.C.-based Goodrich $10 million and the balance is due by year's end, said company spokesman Frank Moore.

Goodrich paid $1.5 billion for TRW's Aeronautical Systems business in October 2002. Then in December of that year Northrop Grumman's $5.9 billion purchase of TRW was completed.
