Dec. 23--ATLANTA -- Taliaferro County residents Wednesday continued their attempts to block a proposed landfill in their backyards, asking a Fulton Superior Court judge to reverse an administrative law judge's decision that would allow the controversial project.

Taliaferro Countians Against the Landfill contend they should be allowed to challenge the administrative law judge's ruling even though lawyers with the state Attorney General's Office have abandoned the appeal.
