Dec. 17--San Antonio is about to land a big fish, and outdoor enthusiasts couldn't be happier.

After months of speculation, Bass Pro Shops will announce today that it's bringing its Outdoor World superstore to San Antonio across from Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

In cities where it has a presence, Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World is known for having more than just bass boats for Bubbas. Some describe it as a tourist attraction.

"For me, it's the Neiman Marcus of hunting stores," said Jennie Crowder who's been an avid hunter for 43 years and who loves to chase hogs. "We need more versatility (in San Antonio). Bass Pro does more, and they are readily geared toward the hunter."
