Stamford, Conn.-based software firm denies infringement claims.

Dec. 15--Stamford-based OutlookSoft Corp. is vehemently denying that it infringed upon two patents owned by Hyperion Solutions and contends that Hyperion, which has its major development facility in Stamford, is feeling the pressure from an emerging competitor.

"We believe this lawsuit is without merit and we plan to conduct a vigorous defense," said Michael Morini, president of OutlookSoft, North America, in a written statement.
