At the launch of his widely anticipated "Spider-Man 2" DVD, director Sam Raimi says he's never thrilled about doing the audio commentary to go along with the movie.
"I never really want to," Raimi tells Zap2it.com. "But they always say to me at the studios, `Well, look, there's a lot of people who like the movie that would be very disappointed when they buy the DVD if it isn't there.' So I do it, but if I had my druthers _ well, I want to please the audience basically, so I do it, but I'm not crazy about it."
Not only is Raimi doing a full commentary on his latest DVD release, but is involved in many of the features in the "Spider-Man 2" DVD release launched Tuesday (Nov. 30) and he personally supervised all the aspects of it, but he wonders if it takes some of the magic away from the film-goers.
