These and 47 other crummy careers are the thesis of Justin Racz's book "50 Jobs Worse Than Yours" (Bloomsbury, $14.95).
Racz is sometimes sketchy on details, like names of those who hold such jobs. And he takes liberties with details. For instance, in his section on driver's ed instructors and what they make, Racz goes flip with, "It's not for the money. It's for the children."
