The guy who can play the double for Saddam Hussein has a bad job. The operator of the "It's a Small World" ride has a bad job. And the guy who stands around in an inflatable cell phone costume has a bad job.
These and 47 other crummy careers are the thesis of Justin Racz's book "50 Jobs Worse Than Yours" (Bloomsbury, $14.95).
Racz is sometimes sketchy on details, like names of those who hold such jobs. And he takes liberties with details. For instance, in his section on driver's ed instructors and what they make, Racz goes flip with, "It's not for the money. It's for the children."
