CHARLOTTE, N.C. _ As the Carolina Panthers offense huddled one last time trying to win the game against Tampa Bay on Sunday, Keary Colbert was trying not to think about what had just happened.

On Carolina's previous possession, the Panthers had faced second-and-12 from their 20, and quarterback Jake Delhomme had hit Colbert in the hands on a 15-yard corner route.

"Ten people did their job on that play," Colbert said. "I didn't. I dropped the ball."
