Nov. 28--BEWARE OF 'PHISHING' LURES: With the holiday shopping season upon us, expect to be barraged by online scammers "phishing" for your personal information.

Their evil intent is to rattle online shoppers searching for bargain gifts at their favorite Internet sites, such as eBay.

Phishing is the term used to describe Internet scams that hook unsuspecting consumers and get them to disclose personal data that can be used to steal their identities, max out their credit cards and drain their bank accounts.
