FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. _ What others view as excess, Pat Riley sees as abundance.

Where some perceive voids, the Miami Heat president envisions possibilities.

From such a blue-skies outlook, Riley insists his team grew stronger with Thursday's addition of 6-foot-7 prep forward Dorell Wright in the first round of the NBA Draft.

"When you go out to try to just fill boxes all the time," he said, "you can get very methodical that way, you can get just sort of hung up."
