Mar. 26--A test that the Census Bureau is conducting in northwest Queens will undercount communities of color, an advocacy group charged yesterday.
The Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund said the set of questions that locals received in their mailboxes earlier this month will not help the Census Bureau prepare for an accurate community count in 2010.
