Mar. 26--PHILADELPHIA -- The front steps of Haddon Heights High School are filled with former classmates holding signs that say "Welcome Herb, Class of 1949."
The group of about 40 burst into applause as Southwest Airlines Co. chairman Herb Kelleher steps off the bus. He grins and holds two thumbs up.
Rita Myers Bott gives him a hug and whips out a photo taken of him and her brother Bob on a backyard swing set when they were about 7 years old.
"Wasn't I adorable," he laughs, and then moves to greet other classmates.
