PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. _ The streak lives.

Tiger Woods bounced back strong Friday with an eagle at his second hole and a birdie at his third and held on for a 3-under-par 69 in the second round of The Players Championship to extend his PGA Tour record to 120 consecutive cuts made.

"You can never doubt that guy," Adam Scott said. "He's just a freak."

Woods is at even-par 144, two shots under the cut line and nine shots off the lead.

"You just have to go out there and grind it out," Woods said. "What you don't realize is that my effort level doesn't change. I play the same way whether I'm shooting 62 or...
