Jun. 25--When Craig Hall started his Frisco office park in 1997, the spot wasn't on the map.
"There wasn't even a road to the construction site when we built the first building," Mr. Hall said. "We started with 100 percent vacancy and nobody even interested."
Now Frisco may be Dallas-Fort Worth's hottest office market.
Two new companies u Duke Realty and Cousins Properties u are going to give Hall Financial Group some competition at the north end of the tollway.
Other builders in the area are also shopping for projects.
"Given the state of the office market in other areas, it would be surprising" to hear about this much-planned construction, said Rich Pogue, executive managing director of CB Richard Ellis' Dallas office. "But if you look at that Frisco market, it is the healthiest certainly in North Texas.
"I can understand why these developers are bullish," he said.
