The evidence that gingko bioba enhances cognition in healthy adults is not strong, consistent, or reliable, Dr. Gary Wenk said during a psychopharmacology update sponsored by the University of Arizona.

Gingko biloba is the most thoroughly studied and widely used of agents touted to improve cognitive function. But its effects on cognition remain unproved.
