Jun. 23--Ever since his father was diagnosed with prostate cancer four years ago, John Johnson Jr. planned to get tested for the disease.
"It's just a good precaution, especially since it runs in the family," he said. "My dad had surgery four years ago, and he's healthy now."
Johnson, 44, was one of dozens of men who got tested yesterday at Queens Borough Hall as part of the free Daily News prostate cancer screenings taking place this week at more than 80 locations in New York and New Jersey.
