The Santa Fe Opera is initiating a shuttle bus service for people in Albuquerque and Santa Fe who don't want to drive to the opera.

The shuttle bus is one of the initiatives of Richard Gaddes, the opera's general director, to make attending the opera easier for patrons.

Julie Wheeler, the opera's box office manager, said there will be as many buses as needed.

The round-trip Albuquerque-Santa Fe Opera bus will cost $30; it will leave Albuquerque two hours before curtain time.
