AUSTIN, Texas _ It's a shame ABC didn't send a crew from Extreme Makeover to Royal-Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
The network would have had a gripping story because there was no recognizing the 16th-ranked Texas team that physically dominated No. 12 Nebraska, 31-7, from the Longhorns who were humiliated by Oklahoma in a 52-point loss three weeks ago.
After Texas ran for 353 yards and held Nebraska's option attack to 53 yards _ its lowest rushing total in 24 years _ Cornhuskers coach Frank Solich said simply, "They played the type of ballgame we had hoped to play."
