AVONDALE, Ariz. _ Outwardly, at least, Matt Kenseth has maintained his easygoing demeanor through the ups and downs of a NASCAR Winston Cup championship chase.
The pressure has never really gotten too bad, he insists. Neither have his nerves.
"Maybe a little stressed after Talladega and Kansas, since we lost all those points from our lead, but other than that it's been OK," Kenseth said Friday at Phoenix International Raceway.
"Business as usual, especially after last weekend, having a decent finish (11th), gaining a few points on second place and with three races to go, that puts us in a pretty good position."
