DALLAS _ Using a second-hand putter he got for $50 at Dallas Golf, Todd Hamilton has won four times and leads the Japan Tour money list with almost $1 million.

Wife Jacque gave birth to their third child in April, and construction on a new home near the Vaquero Club in Westlake, Texas, will begin soon.

As the top-ranked player in Japan, Hamilton will compete in this week's WGC-American Express Championship in Woodstock, Ga.

About the only thing he has not done this year is qualify for the PGA Tour.
