Apt.core, "2" (Rocketown) _ 3 stars
Apt.core is Will Hunt. His second album, "2," is a techno soundscape that Hunt started creating on a laptop in the back of a tour bus. He then collaborated with a handful of musicians and put this collection of 10 songs together in the studio.
The songs beep and thump to eclectic, electric rhythms. The digitized voices float in and out of the melodies. He's created a surreal listening experience that he believes will encourage musicians to stick with their artistic vision and move listeners spiritually.
