Sep. 27--Moccasin Wallow Road, a rural swath of land in the north part of the county, could soon sprout as many as 253 homes, bringing development to an area previously known for its orange groves and proximity to Piney Point.
Haydon Rubin-Development Inc. of Clearwater wants to put 145 residences on a 40-acre grove at the intersection of Moccasin Wallow and Bud Rhoden Road.
