EDITORS: Starting Monday, Sept. 8, KRT's News2Use weekly package will feature four new columns from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The new columns:

_ Healthy Living by Carolyn Poirot focuses on health-related topics like diet/fitness approaches and water-borne bacteria and is slugged NEWS2USE-HEALTH-POIROT-COLUMN:FT;

_ Family Life by Amanda Rogers covers issues such as new pets and maintaining communication with kids and is slugged NEWS2USE-FAM-ROGERS-COLUMN:FT;

_ Home & Garden by Alyson Ward targets topics like garden maintenance and care of patio furniture and is slugged NEWS2USE-HOME-WARD-COLUMN:FT; and

_ Savvy Consumer by Teresa McUsic gives tips on items ranging from home warranties to telemarketing scams and is slugged NEWS2USE-MCUSIC-COLUMN:FT.

Each column will appear monthly on a rotating basis in News2Use.
