ARLINGTON, Texas _ Great, more rain. The Kansas City Royals must be wondering if they're ever going to see sunshine again after Monday's 7-3 loss to the Texas Rangers at the Ballpark in Arlington.

"We were just flat," veteran catcher Brent Mayne said observed. "I don't know if it's because we've been out of a routine or what. I mean routine is important, but it's important for the other team, too. And they're walking all over us."
