Food producers could prevent dozens of child deaths a year by labeling foods such as hot dogs, grapes, candy popcorn and peanut butter as "choking hazards," the Center for Science in the Public Interest says.
The center, a nonprofit health-advocacy group that focuses on nutrition and food safety, recently sent letters to more than 300 food producers urging them to label their products as hazardous to young children.
