Aug. 24--The owners of the downtown building where Metro Grille was located plan to turn the place into a restaurant themselves, with live entertainment and a menu that's less upscale but just as tasty.
"We think it's a huge opportunity," said building owner Tom Hall of Columbia.
Former Metro Grille owner Larry Core moved out of the 118-year-old building at 122 E. Main St. in July. He'd been there about 18 months.
Hall and his wife, Julie, don't have a name yet for the new restaurant and can't announce the chef until sometime next week. They do plan a mix between Metro and For What It's Worth, a casual restaurant that occupied …
