Oct. 12--$4.4 Million for Victims of Utah Mortgage Fraud
About 2,100 Utah homeowners can be expected to receive a total of $4.4 million from a mortgage fraud-related settlement with Household Finance.
Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff said Friday that is the cut for Utahns from the mortgage lender's agreement to cough up $484 million to homeowners nationwide for alleged unfair and deceptive lending practices since 1999.
