DEER VALLEY, Utah _ Moguls skiers don't have knees, they have shock absorbers. Watching the women Olympians bounce down the hill Saturday was not recommended for anyone who didn't have a large stash of ibuprofen.

Moguls skiers typically have back, neck and knee pain. Jeez, no kidding?

But pain wasn't on the brain of the United States' Shannon Bahrke as she rumbled down the course Saturday. Bahrke wasn't the American picked most likely to win a medal in the women's moguls _ Hannah Hardaway was.

It was Bahrke, however, cheered on by about 50 family members from Tahoe City, Calif., who captured the silver _ the first U.S. medal of the games.
