Has "Dawson's Creek" run dry?
The teen soaper, now entering its sixth season _ late middle age in WB years _ had been teasing viewers with the prospect of a Dawson-Joey coupling for so long that most of its target audience, like most of its characters, left for college long ago.
We can only hope they've found better things to worry about than whether childhood pals Dawson (James Van Der Beek) and Joey (Katie Holmes) ever go bump in the night.
