With three days of seminars, exhibitions, and special events, the debut ISH North America show promises to be significant for anyone involved in the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning, plumbing, or kitchen and bath industries. The show organizer, Messe Frankfurt, and its partners and sponsors have organized ISH NA with the theme of Forging a New Era of Products, Productivity, and Profits.
Approximately 20,000 industry professionals are expected to attend the show, which takes place October 31-November 2 at Toronto's National Trade Center. Four hundred exhibitors from 13 countries have reserved space.
An ISH NA registration badge includes admission into the 2002 LonWorld Tradeshow and Conference. Echelon Corporation has joined with Messe Frankfurt for Lon Works Control Network's annual building, home, and industrial automation conference. The Lon protocol establishes a way to network appliances, thermostats, hvac/hydronics, electric meters, lighting, and security systems to each other and to the Internet, automating their operation and providing interoperabillity.
The special keynote speaker, Rich Trethewey from PBS' "This Old House" will provide insights on the industry's future. Other highlights include a number of business and technical seminars conducted by industry experts.
