The cover of the catalogue for OPERATHON 2002, the broadcast fundraiser for LYRIC OPERA OF CHICAGO, features a Skrebneski photograph of RENEE FLEMING, modeling a silk scarf designed by Lee Allison. Inspired by the art deco design motifs in Chicago's Civic Opera House, the scarf is one of many items for sale in this year's OPERATHON, which will be broadcast on 200 radio stations nationally on October 12, 8 A.M.-12 midnight (CST), and on the internet at www.wfmt.com. 2. The choir of Benedictine nuns at the ABBEY OF REGINA LAUDIS, in Bethlehem, CT, will issue its third CD of Gregorian chant in December. Titled A GREGORIAN CHANT MASTER CLASS, the new release contains a textbook and accompanying CD with instructions in the fundamentals of teaching and singing Gregorian chant.
