Sep. 20--RIVALS COVETING NATIONAL AIRLINES' 2 UNUSED SLOTS AT REAGAN AIRPORT: The nation's largest airlines appear to be capitalizing on the financial problems of Las Vegas-based National Airlines.
Six carriers, including the nation's three largest, have filed for permission to use a pair of slots that allowed National to offer daily round-trip service to Ronald Reagan National Airport from Las Vegas. A slot gives an airline the right to land or take off at airports where flights are restricted.
