I rushed out on July l to snatch up the new copy of Better Nutrition, and what a disappointment.
I mean, I love this magazine. Tucked amid the glossy photos and even glossier ads, there are some very interesting articles. My favorite is the section you call Updates. If I don't read it first, I'm afraid of missing important news that affects my health. Good variety of articles throughout the magazine, too.
But alas, only 42 pages? Heck, in June, I felt shortchanged at 66. Sure, there are lots of other health mags, but they're boring. My suggestion? Maybe you should use bigger type so I have more pages to read!

When we lose a smaller health food store to a big national chain ("Closing Time," July 2002), there are other losses in addition to the ones mentioned in your article. One loss might well be the health we're trying to support. Read the labels on some of the store-brand supplements in many of the large retail chains.
One bottle I checked contained titanium dioxide, Yellow 6 Lake, Red 40 Lake and Blue 2 Lake. I scrupulously avoid ingredients like those when I buy ...
