Holographic photopolymer dominated Holography News in the July/August 1992 issue. DuPont's Optical Element Venture (as the holography group was then called) announced its replication machine, selling for around $310,000, to encourage production of display holograms on its photopolymer film. Two machines were in production, one at DuPont and the other at an unnamed hologram producer. But it was reported that Dai Nippon would start production within a few months, and Toppan had shown a full-colour photopolymer reflection hologram.
