EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND -- A group of major companies and national industry associations have launched WADE, the World Alliance for Decentralized Energy, to promote decentralized energy, also called onsite power or distributed generation.
Organizers say the group's key objectives represent a five-point blueprint for a more cost-efficient and less polluting global electricity system:
