ST. PAUL _ Brandon Hall's nickname "Baby Giant" was a natural.
At 6-foot-5 and 270 pounds, Hall was a big man with a baby's face.
"We called him a baby giant. For some reason, he just grew and grew and grew - he outgrew all of the cousins in the family," said his aunt Patricia Moultry. Hall was a mama's boy who grew up on the east side of Detroit. He was a redshirt freshman defensive lineman with a five-year scholarship to a Big Ten school and dreams of playing professional football.
He was, say those who knew him, polite, nice and fond of volunteering at Detroit Finney High School - his alma mater - at athletic events during college breaks. ...
