OAKLAND, Calif. _ Miguel Tejada insists he is just doing his part.

But the fans at Network Associates Coliseum who chanted M-V-P!, M-V-P! as Tejada circled the bases Sunday after his first game-winning home run aren't buying it.

Neither are his teammates.

"MVP, period," closer Billy Koch said. "Three letters describe that guy. I don't think there's another choice. Where would we be without him?"
