DETROIT _ Brandon Hall called home Saturday night to tell his mom about playing in his first college football game. He was happy, excited and feeling quite pumped about his lone tackle.
Hours later, Hall, 19, a University of Minnesota student, was shot and killed in downtown Minneapolis, after celebrating his team's 42-0 victory over Southwest Texas State.
