DETROIT _ As usual, left-hander Mark Redman didn't give up any home runs Sunday in Comerica Park. He has allowed two in the past four months at home.

But the park's vastness can't always save a pitcher when he hits his own wall _ a wall of too many hard innings in a year of low-scoring games.

Redman gave up 10 hits and two walks in six innings Sunday, more than enough to cost him a 7-0 loss to Chicago White Sox left-hander Mark Buehrle, who pitched a seven-hitter. As in their other two games since a strike was averted, the Tigers drew a meager weekend crowd (14,856) despite beautiful weather.
