ST. LOUIS _ St. Louis Rams coach Mike Martz isn't waving a white flag after a winless preseason.
"I think we are further along in a lot of aspects with this team than we were last year," Martz said.
The Rams concluded the preseason with an 0-4 record after falling 23-16 to the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday night at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Rams' first-string offense and defense built a 16-3 first-half lead against the Chiefs, but the Rams' reserves were outscored 20-0 in the second half.
In fact, you could blame most of the Rams' preseason problems on their reserves.
