MIAMI _ Marlins third-base coach Ozzie Guillen trotted into the clubhouse after Wednesday's 7-3 victory over the New York Mets, waving to fans.

``We'll see you Friday,'' he shouted.

Leave it to the Marlins to be optimistic.

With a possible strike looming, no one knows if the Marlins are done for the season. They do not play on Thursday, and are scheduled to play Pittsburgh at Pro Player Stadium on Friday, the day union leader Don Fehr has set for the players to walk out.

``I think we'll back on Friday. That's my gut feeling,'' Marlins manager Jeff Torborg said. ``I've got a good vibe. The win helps.''
