That simple statement Dolphins coach Dave Wannstedt made to reporters after Sunday's 34-27 victory over Buffalo is the reason his team escaped Ralph Wilson Stadium with its hopes of winning the AFC East still very much alive.
Quarterback Jay Fiedler kept believing, leading a frantic comeback with 123 passing yards and three touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
Cornerback Patrick Surtain kept believing, making amends for surrendering an early touchdown pass by recovering the Bills fumble that led to wide receiver Chris Chambers' game-winning score with 48 seconds remaining.
And just as importantly, their teammates also kept believing despite trailing by 10 points with 8:16 remaining in the game.
